Terms of Use
By downloading, installing, or using Taskaro ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Taskaro. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
Taskaro uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
3. Free Tier Limits
The free version of Taskaro includes the following limits:
- Up to 3 tasks per day
- Up to 3 notes
- No cloud sync — data is stored locally on your device only
- No PDF export for tasks or notes
Upgrading to a premium plan (available via in-app purchase) removes these limits and unlocks cloud sync, PDF export, and additional features.
4. In-App Purchases
Premium features are available through in-app purchases processed by Google Play. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms and your applicable store policies. Prices are displayed in the app before purchase. Once a premium feature is unlocked, access continues for the duration specified at purchase (one-time unlock or subscription period).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
- Use automated tools to create accounts or interact with the App at scale
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or Firebase services
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
6. Your Content
You own the tasks and notes you create. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and sync that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Taskaro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or that your data will never be lost. We strongly encourage you to use the built-in PDF export feature to back up important tasks and notes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Taskaro and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Taskaro for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account via the Delete Account page.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, through the courts of competent jurisdiction.
